Time really passes us by really fast and before I knew it, it has been a rather long hiatus I have taken from this blog. I recently found a new job, which also means longer working hours, putting in the extra effort. We all know that one day, the hard work is going to pay.
However, let’s not forget to pamper our skin. Throughout the day, our skin has suffered from free radicals, pollution and more. In the night, We all try to catch some sleep and minimally, the best time for a “beauty rest” is between 10pm – 2am. Also, for optimal skin rejuvenation, we all need at least 8 hours of sleep.
Yet, many of times, We just don’t get enough sleep. So here are some beauty products to recommend, which may help boost skin rejuvenation and make your skin look brighter, better in the day; Or if we put it bluntly – “to look like we’ve caught enough sleep through the night”
Lancome Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector
This gel to oil night moisturiser contains ingredients that I feel would be great for the skin; such as Soybean Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil and Algae Extracts that are perfect hydrating ingredients. This moisturiser has a gentle-calming effect on the skin and claims to work at an optimal level without feeling too heavy / oily on the skin.
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
This serum concentrate may seem a little too rich to work on with a moisturiser but unexpectedly has met my expectations for overnight skin repair. It absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin feeling nourished and calm for a great night sleep. Some of the key ingredients which prepares you for “zz – land” are Evening Primrose Oil and Lavender Essential Oil. This will be a great buy if it does not put a burden to your pocket.
Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
This product is definitely a “Bang-for-the-bucks”! Seriously, every men and women MUST have this product in their fridge. I repeat, this is a MUST-HAVE! This product boasts of its sleep-tox purifying technology while it is an improvement from the previous Water Sleeping Mask. This mask keeps your skin hydrated no matter how many hours of sleep you take.
These are all I have to share for now. I hope this will help you get your beauty sleep in shape. Also, a disclaimer for all out there – these are products that I have tried on my own and have in no way been sponsored for an advertorial.
Goodnight sleepy babies! Let’s look forward to greater skin and happier days!
