Hi Every One! I am back with a review of a Taiwan Skincare brand – Neogence. They are really popular for key products like the Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Essence and Extremely Off  – Heads Serum pH 5.5.

Today, I’d like to share with you on the mask sheets I had previously purchased during my trip to Taiwan and have been diligently using on an almost daily basis for the past couple of months. TO HIGHLIGHT: This is not a sponsored post! Every mask sheet that has been reviewed within this post are purchased with my own money & shared with you because I have seen noticeable results using them. 😉

Shall we start?

Before my trip to Taiwan, I have always heard a couple of my friends talking Neogence to which, I have never paid much attention to. I had always been a big fan of Korean skincare (That explains why)

While I was on my trip, I noticed a large trending skincare practice, which, I strongly recommend and have diligently been practising – daily masking! Within Taiwan Beauty Stores itself, there are almost 50 to 100 over mask types and brands ranging from Japanese, Korean to local brands! So when I had the chance, I had to pick these Neogence mask sheets up to try!

These mask sheets can be practically found anywhere from Cosmed to Xiao San Mei Ri .etc. Neogence N3 Tranexamic Acid Brightening Mask Sheet has been FDA approved to be safe to use on the skin and to be Paraben – free.

Personally, I appreciate this mask sheet for its key ingredients such as Koshihikari Rice Extracts (Japanese Short Grain), Tranexamic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid as well as Chamomile.

Rice water extracts have been traditionally known for its effective skin brightening results and many beauty brands have also put this key ingredient into at least one of their skincare products.

Another key ingredient that has recently grew in popularity for skin brightening effects is Tranexamic Acid. This acidic ingredient has said to help with reducing redness as well as improving rosacea prone skin.

Upon first use, it had helped me with calming my skin down. I usually get fine veins that shine from beneath my skin. My skin tend to be on the redder side, usually, due to the hot, humid weather in Singapore as well as from damage caused by harsh environmental pollutants we face on a daily basis.

This had not only soothed my angry spots but also calm down the redness on my skin. Frequent usage will help you to see better results such as stronger skin barrier, clearer skin, brighter complexion, lighter skin pigmentations.

I highly recommend this to people with acne – prone skin and if you are looking to brighten up any dull skin complexion.

This is another mask sheet I would highly recommend for you to purchase. Mandelic Acid derived from Almonds are growing in popularity for sebum control, reducing pore size and refining skin texture.

This mask sheet helps with soothing angry bumps and provides effective lock – in of moisture in to the skin, It has been popularly known that with acne – prone skin, hydration is key. Hence, many have strongly recommend to moisturise, moisturise, MOISTURISE!

If you are one to find it troublesome to put on layers and layers of skincare products, you can always go for the easy way out. Just like me ( when I’m lazy ), I would pop one of these mask sheets into the fridge, gently cleanse my face before using the mask sheet.

This not only helps you to skip the step of a hydrating toner but also an essence. Mask sheets are always a great 2 – in – 1 for a “hydra – quickie” sesh! Before going to bed, you can lock in all that moisturising goodness with a favourite moisturising night cream. Voila~!

Do Note: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AS A REGULAR NIGHT SKINCARE ROUTINE. Beautiful ladies are never lazy; Skincare takes time 😉

With this mask sheet, be sure to see lesser blackhead, whitehead production; calmer, brighter skin complexion with frequent use.

Before I rant further, I am glad these are not only available in Taiwan, they are also available on this treacherously  sunny island – Singapore! You can find these mask babies in all outlets of SASA Singapore. Prices of this mask sheet are SGD$21.90 for 10 sheets, about SGD$2.00 per sheet!

That is all for now! Do share with me in the comments down below if any of these mask sheets are your skincare favourites as well please! Also, share with me on other brands of skincare mask sheets you like too~ ❤

Till Next Time!
